Montague bounced back from a sluggish second quarter to earn a 45-36 win at Shelby Monday night.
The Wildcats trailed 23-18 at halftime after the Tigers hit a last-second three-pointer, but they controlled the game on defense in the second half.
“We didn’t back down and came out and had a strong second half to come out with the win,” Montague coach Jess DeBruin said.
