Reeths-Puffer blasted rival Mona Shores Wednesday night, 8-0, continuing an outstanding start to the season. The Rockets moved to 4-0-1 and 2-0 in the O-K Green Conference.
Six different R-P players scored goals in the win, led by freshman Saif Abunayla, who had two goals. The Rockets clinched the mercy-rule win just over a minute into the second half.
R-P did not allow a shot on goal in the game, either, showing its dominance.
Owen Ritsema scored a goal and had an assist for the Rockets.
