The White Lake Congregational United Church of Christ announced this week it is sponsoring two events this January. On Saturday, Jan. 20, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, it will host a drive-up mobile food pantry in cooperation with Feeding America West Michigan. Wholesome supplemental groceries will be provided at no cost to anyone in need. A simple registration is all that is required.
Additionally, the American Red Cross will be on site for a blood drive Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. An appointment is needed; phone: 1-800 RED-CROSS.
