Montague volleyball goes 1-1 at Cedar Springs Tri

Montague went 1-1 at the Cedar Springs Tri Thursday night, dropping a 25-19, 25-20 decision to the host Red Hawks to start the night and beating Covenant Christian 25-17, 25-21 in its second match.
Maizie Collins had 14 kills for Montague (15-7-2) and also led with three aces at the service line. Jordan Netcott racked up 26 digs for the Wildcat defense and Jaelyn Sundberg had 26 assists.
Emalee McGee posted 20 service points, tops on the team, and tied with Ava Pumford for second with six kills.
