Reeths-Puffer golf plays very well in 3rd-place finish at Mona Shores jamboree

Reeths-Puffer showed significant team growth at Tuesday's O-K Green Conference jamboree at Muskegon Country Club, taking third place with a team score of 188, only four strokes behind first-place Byron Center and a 17-stroke improvement from the season's opening jamboree.
“The girls continue to work hard and we are seeing a lot of improvement," Rockets' coach Matt Pallett said. "This team continues to trend in the right direction.”
Sophia McCollum continued the impressive start to her sophomore year, scoring birdies on her first two holes of the day and scoring a team-best 39, tying for first place individually. Rowan Bluhm added a strong round of 42, finishing third. She also scored a birdie during her round.
“Sophia and Rowan continue to play very good golf," Pallett said. "Even with that, I still think their best golf is yet to come.”
Olivia Ambler scored a 51 - a 20-stroke improvement from a season ago at Muskegon CC - and Emma Dvorak added a 56 to round out team scoring.
