Outside of struggles against a juggernaut Mattawan opponent that won every match it played, Reeths-Puffer enjoyed an impressive effort Saturday at the four-team Northview Invitational, with five Rocket flights earning 2-1 records.
All four R-P singles players won two matches apiece, and seven of those eight wins came in straight sets. No. 1 singles' Ethan Frang, No. 2 player Quinn Alderink and No. 4 player Adam Miller all won twice in straight sets, and Cory Judd bounced back from a first-set loss against Northview to earn a pair of wins as well.
The Rockets' top doubles pair of Trent VanDam/Holden Earnest also won a pair of straight-set victories on the way to a 2-1 record. Duos Kaden Marshal/Preston Singleton and Erik Trulsen/Henrik Ketner each won a match as well.
