Whitehall earned another West Michigan Conference jamboree win Monday at Fremont, shooting a team score of 374.
Montague earned a strong second place with a season-best score of 386, edging North Muskegon by five strokes.
The
Vikings' Grace McDowell earned medalist honors for the jamboree, with
an 87, and scored a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole. Montague's Cadence
Fox carded a career-best 90 to finish in second place.
Morgan Garcia
placed third for Whitehall, shooting a 92. Braylyn Bultema tied for
fifth for the Wildcats with a 94. The Vikings' Riley Shafer finished in
an eighth-place tie with a 96, and for Montague, Brynlee Kessler's 98
earned her a tie for 10th place.
Rounding out the scoring for local
teams were Kelsie McClure, who shot a 99 for Whitehall, and Addi Smith,
who had a 104 for Montague.
