Shorthanded due to illnesses, Whitehall was still able to fight off a challenge from Manistee on the road Wednesday night and secure a 3-2 victory.
Three different Vikings scored in the win, which moved Whitehall to 4-2 in the WMC (4-6 overall). Carter Burrous tied the score at 1 after a Manistee penalty-kick goal by finding the back of the net himself, and Ryan Bowen and Royce Freed each added a goal later to keep Whitehall on top.
