Whitehall tennis goes 1-2 at home quad meet

Whitehall went 1-2 at Saturday's home quad meet, earning a 7-1 win over Harbor Springs and falling by 7-1 scores to Glen Lake and Grand Haven.
The Vikings' No. 4 doubles team, Evan Thomas/Elijah Roberge, highlighted individual performances by posting a 2-1 record. Thomas/Roberge fought off an impressive challenge from Glen Lake's Elliot MacTavish/Kyra Lamb to win in two sets, 7-6(5), 7-6(3), and won another match in straight sets.
The Vikings' other seven flights each won one match apiece at the quad.
