Whitehall's boys team finished third and the girls took fourth
place in the large-school Red division at Saturday's Fremont Hill &
Bale Invitational.
Both Viking teams had a top-5 individual
finisher. Cami Kraai placed third in the girls' race with a time of
20:57.8, and Stewart Waters was fourth in the boys' race with a time of
17:07.8.
Drew Boeringa and Hunter Parsons also placed highly
for the Whitehall boys. Boeringa was ninth (17:51.4) and Parsons took
11th place (18:04.6). Rounding out Vikings' scoring were Tyler Van
Antwerp in 20th place (19:34.99) and Justin Jensen in 21st (19:38.0).
Also
scoring for the Whitehall girls were Kassie Sapp (19th, 23:34.7),
Corina Mitteer (23rd, 24:12.8), Lily Britton (33rd, 25:31.8) and Ella
Nicholson (34th, 25:32.7).
