Montague outpaced Whitehall for the second meet in a row Friday at the Ludington Invitational,
putting up a season-best score of 376 to finish in fourth place out of
14 teams. The Vikings finished sixth with a team score of 399.
Montague's
Brynlee Kessler broke through with a personal best score of 88, the
best score of any local player. She finished in sixth place and recorded
a birdie on the par-4 third hole. The Wildcats' Braylyn Bultema and the Vikes' Grace McDowell tied for eighth place, each scoring a 90.

Smith and Marguerite O'Conell closed Montague's scoring, shooting a 104
and 19 respectively. For Whitehall, Riley Shafer shot a 97, Morgan
Garcia had a 102 and Lexi Daggett shot a 110.
