The public is welcomed to celebrate Jane Austen's birthday with a
tea service and movie screening at the Playhouse at White Lake Saturday,
Dec. 14 at 3:30 p.m. The event is taking place in partnership with the
White Lake Community Library.
The Playhouse will show the
2005 adaptation of Pride and Prejudice as part of the celebration, which
will also include English tea service and trivia. Regency-era attire is
encouraged, though not required. Guests are requested to bring a
wrapped book to exchange with fellow guests, and the book does not need
to be new.
Space is limited to 80 guests. Tickets are $30 for
adults and $15 for children under 12 years of age. To purchase tickets,
