Reeths-Puffer wrestling places 4th at Howell tournament

Reeths-Puffer finished fourth in its first tournament of the season Saturday, the Herm Wilkinson Classic in Howell.
Rockets' star Ian Cook highlighted R-P's efforts on the day, taking the top spot at 144 pounds. Cook was never seriously tested on his way to the top of the podium, winning twice by major decision, once by technical fall and once by pin.
Sage Secrest also had a strong day, placing third at 215. He won five consecutive matches to end his tournament in dominant fashion. Four of his wins came by pin and one by injury default.
Jake Rozycki was R-P's next highest placer, coming in fifth at 138. He went 4-2 on the day.
