Whitehall split its two bowling matches in Monday's season-opening
matchup against Holton, with the boys' Vikings taking a 20-10 win while
the girls' team lost 21-9.
Max Schneider was the top scorer
for the Viking boys, winning both of his singles matches and rolling
games of 194 and 176. Mason Slaughter added a 172 to score a win in
singles play as well.
In the girls' match, Felicity Dingman
led Whitehall with a pair of singles wins, rolling games of 147 and 135.
The Vikes scored six of their nine points in the Baker games.
