Whitehall lost its season opener Tuesday night against consistent Division 1 power Hudsonville, 78-55.
It
was the Vikings' first regular-season defeat since Feb. 3, 2023, a loss
to Covenant Christian, but coach Christian Subdon said prior to the
season that his team was seeking out great competition without regard to
whether it would result in a bunch of regular-season wins.
Camden
Thompson had a huge game for Whitehall in defeat, racking up 31 points
and 14 rebounds. He was 11-of-13 at the free throw line. Kal Koehler
added 16 points.
Hudsonville made 11 of its 21 three-point attempts, and Joey Miller led the Eagles with 23 points.
