Whitehall opened its season Saturday at the Competitive Cheer
Coaches' Association of Michigan's scholarship invitational in Jenison,
finishing fourth of five Division 3 teams to compete.
The Vikings also outscored three other teams that competed in the event and scored 576.06 points in all.
Whitehall
achieved decent scores in all three rounds, but were hampered by
penalty points, of which they accrued 15 during the meet. In comparison
to the competition, the Vikes' best round was the second round, where
they scored 170.96 points but were hit with five penalty points.
