Montague was unable to slow down Oakridge star Peyton Ruel Friday night and took a 77-47 West Michigan Conference Lakes defeat.
Ruel
poured in 33 points for the Eagles, who steadily built their lead
throughout the game. A pair of early three-pointers by Jack Degen wasn't
enough for the Wildcats to keep pace.
Kellan Francis and Cole Herremans each had nine points for Montague (3-9, 1-5 WMC Lakes).
