Montague boys bowling rolls past Ludington; girls drop tight match

Montague's boys team scored an easy win over Ludington Monday in West Michigan Conference action, 25-5, while the girls Wildcats took a tough 16-14 defeat.
The Wildcat boys scored all 10 possible points in the two Baker matches and also performed well in individual games. Matthew Leatherman earned the two top scores for Montague, a 191 and a 189. Ethan Hite and Logan Hunter each scored a pair of individual wins as well.
The girls' team also scored all 10 possible Baker points, but struggles in individual play enabled the Orioles to escape with the win. Jordyn Tolan had the girls' top individual game, a 150, and won both her singles matches.
