Montague lost a hard-fought battle to Hart Tuesday night, 38-33, in a cross-division West Michigan Conference contest.
The
teams were tied up at 22 after three quarters in a defensive slugfest
before Hart was able to make some clutch free throws late and get the
win. The Pirates were 14-of-17 from the line in the fourth quarter.
Adilynn Peterson led Montague (6-3) with 10 points and Avah Vandermeulen added nine.
