Whitehall finished in third place overall at Saturday's Grand Haven
Invitational, in a field mostly consisting of larger schools.
The Vikings were one of two Division 3/4 teams competing - Ludington was the other - and seven teams in all.
Whitehall scored 620.94 points, outscoring Ludington by almost 67 points. They finished behind only Mona Shores and West Ottawa.
The
Vikes did not get assessed any penalty points in the competition. Their
closest score to second-place West Ottawa came in round two, where they
had 180.64 points, less than six fewer than the Panthers.
