The White Lake Area Sportfishing Association will host its free annual kids "Get Hooked on Fishing" event at Lebanon Lutheran Church's community room Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Open to students grades 3-5, the event will feature WLASA anglers on site to teach kids how to tie a good fishing knot and identify different types of fish, and will include bait casting practice and ice fishing equipment and techniques.
Refreshments will be served and any student attending will be entered into a drawing to win fishing prizes. Parents, grandparents or guardians are asked to join their students.
